We had a great workout in Green Park on April 23rd. Our series of SAQ (Speed Agility Quickness) sessions with Nordic Balance are getting us into shape for spring.
We had a good turn out regardless of the weather. It was a little cold and wet but nothing that the strong hearted can’t face. We met at Run and Become, put on our florescent bibs, and jogged over to Green Park for the hour-long workout.
Simon, a personal trainer, from Nordic Balance, (a great gym in Green Park), led the session. We did a lot of ladder work, core strengthening exercises and sprints. Most of us don’t do these exercises in our regular training so we were really grateful to learn new ways of building up strength to run faster.
Below are some photos of us doing different drills and stretching. See you all soon at another workshop. Come along, they are all free!
